Rugby Self Store Now a Certified Drop Off Point for Clothing Donations Following New Partnership with The Air Ambulance
Fri 16th April 2021Rugby Self Store is now a certified drop off point for clothing donations following a new partnership with The Air Ambulance Service.
The Air Ambulance Service operates the national Children’s Air Ambulance and the local air ambulance services for Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland, with aims to ensure children grow into adults, for adults to live longer, and for families to stay together as bereavement through trauma becomes rare.
As a result of this partnership, Rugby Self Store is now host to a recycling bank for clothing and toy reuse.
Donations at our new drop off point are the quickest and easiest way to ensure pre-loved items including clothing, household items, books, sports equipment and other equipment are recycled as high-quality stock in The Air Ambulance Service's stores.
Drop offs need to be arranged in advance and by appointment. Drop off times are between Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
If you live in and around Rugby and have any unwanted clothes, bags and shoes, please drop them off at our clothing bank. Whether it’s items you no longer love, items that no longer fit, or items you simply haven’t worn, The Air Ambulance Service will benefit greatly from your donations and give someone the chance to love them again.
Items that can be donated include clothing, paired shoes, hats, scarfs, gloves, handbags, belts and linen. Items that won't be accepted include duvets, pillows, video cassettes, large furniture, white goods, electrical items and household waste.
